SVConnect operates the AI Chat Plugin for Shopify. This page informs you of our privacy practices.

What We Collect

We collect minimal data necessary to provide our AI chat service:

• Store Information: Your Shopify store domain (e.g., mystore.myshopify.com) to identify your account
• Chat Messages: Messages sent through the AI chat widget are processed by our AI provider (Ollama) to generate responses
• Store Data: Product and page information from your store is used solely to help the AI answer customer questions accurately

What We Don't Collect

We do not:

• Collect or store customer payment information
• Track customers across different stores or websites
• Sell or share customer data with third parties
• Use customer chat data for advertising or marketing

Data Storage

Chat conversations are not stored on our servers. They're processed in real-time through our AI provider and discarded immediately after the response is generated.

Third-Party Services

We use Ollama (ollama.com) as our AI provider to process chat messages. Your chat data is sent to Ollama for processing but is not retained by them beyond the immediate request.

Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All connections are encrypted via HTTPS.

Your Rights

You can uninstall the app at any time to stop all data processing. If you have questions about this policy, contact us through the Shopify App Store.
